Demokratie & Dialog is a European not-for-profit association working in education—most notably political, citizenship and human rights education—where practice, research and policy meet.

• It was founded in 2008 by Europeans—individuals working at the intersection of research, policy and practice—with the ambition to foster democracy and dialogue in Europe.

Our first common project was the book «Born in Flensburg, Europe. Journeys with Peter Lauritzen» – a volume of essayistic contributions from colleagues, fellow travellers and friends of Peter Lauritzen, one of the pioneers of political and citizenship education in the youth sector as well as adult education.
